sniper accuracy changed?

Post by ralfidude »

I am glad that the deviation bug from the snipers has been fixed but i still see sniper shots that miss a target standing up at medium range while prone and still scope... that makes me :26_suicid ... is there "some" sort of slight deviation still in effect? I will take pictures of sniper shots just before pulling the trigger to show the types of shots that dont hit at all, and u will be shocked.

After the settle time of 2-3 seconds there is NO! deviation on the sniper rifles. On the DM rifles there is very little deviation, pretty much none.

well id love to believe that, but unfortunately as a sniper iv noticed otherwise, i mean im a damn good sniper. On Albrashar i made it 50 kills to one death in the city protecting my other marksman on opposite rooftop and such. So its not a lack of skill. Once i get screen shots it will show u what i mean. By the way, what do u mean DM rifles?

DMR = Designated Marksmen Rifle.

Here are the facts,

Sniper rifles after their 2-3 seconds of settle time have no deviation at all. Only thing you have to adjust for is the bullet drop which you shouldn't have to worry about on the Al Basrah engagement ranges.

Settle time includes not moving the crosshair. Don't bother tracking targets, let them walk onto your crosshair.

bullet drop for sniper or marksman is 600m. Marksman doesnt really have the scope to shoot that far often really but sniper does so you have to shoot over their heads sometimes, watch the smoke puffs

Otherwise trying making a short video?

Rifle bullet drop is 300m+

and carbine is just 100m apparently. I took a shot at 161m to test that though and I blew the barrels just fine though, right on the red dot so it cant be much drop. I was in the hills above it though I guess, barrels werent even rendering but the explosion didImage
