Vista Problem

ok my friend is running 32 bit vista and everytime he tries to join server it gets to 15% and then CTD's, he already installed sp1 and has tried running it as admin so now what..............

Before anyone can help you on this matter we need to know the system specifications of the computer.

I run PR on vista 32 and have no problems now. It needs to be run under xp compatability mode as well as admin.
Then try running it under lowest settings and low res - If it works fine on low settings hes probably pushing his card too hard and needs to change his video settings. Might be worth putting audio settings to low aswell and turn off VOIP so you can narrow down the problem.
I had nightmares with PR at first with crashes all the time, but after many hours playing about with my comp, it turns out I had the settings too high.
I lowered the res slightly ( everything else left on high ) and everythings works perfect at my end now. Cant even really notice the lower res either. Only other thing I changed is running the game off its own harddrive, cos I had one spare.
His problem could be many things, so this may not help, but that was my experience.
Oh yeah - he needs to let punkbuster and bf2 through his firewall/s as well.
