Kashan Desert 16 version should be run on more servers

Maybe because it is already in the .756 build? Most servers just don't realize and therefore do not run it.

Yeah I'd like to see more maps like that, we wouldn't have 12 people tking each other for jets and attack helos like I've seen in the past few days :(

It was made by the dev who did the map originally.

It's actually my favorite version, but this is probably because I've played 32 and 64 a lot.

Its a real blast, you can get in those bunkers without fearing the AA or tanks will turn you in to minced soldiers.

nooo.. duckhunt and myself did the map originally, fuzzhead did the 16p layer... aswell as the other tweaks :roll:

I haven't been able to play on the TG server :hissyfit: its always at 62 or more!!! Its my favorite server, and I been playing other games cuase I don't like other servers as much... :hissyfit:

I saw the 16 version as I was loading up on the TG server, but it turned out to be the 64 version. I've yet to play, but I was excited to try the rather "light combat". :)

I don't like it.. kashan desert is a big asset based map, and running a sort of inf only ruins the map. We already have a lag of tank and air asset based maps.

its great, .:iGi:. has it in map rotation, lots of intense fighting around bunkers and allows for alot of movement like flanking ect, real good map.

Us guys at EEF reckon all servers should have the choice of running "Light Combat Mode". Ours does and if you want to play simply download the link in jonny's sig (he posted on the first page) and it doesn't affect anything else. Stick it in the full game Devs!!!

So is the 16p mode for Kashan the same as Jonny's Light Combat mod? The full size map with no armour?

Yeah, well I'm saying this from what i've heard about the new size 16 'cause I haven't played it just yet but yes Jonny's light combat mode works for all maps, any size, you just need the files...
