thats because they aren't terrorists. Its a coalition of reasonably wealthy middle eastern states.
but yes, I don't like seeing MEC guys running around with the SA80A2 and Scar for example.

err no, i think it might have something to do with Oil, and the OFPEC, controlling the price of Oil, and by switching the buying and selling of oil to Euro's, could start a very serious economic downturn in the US and UK.Zantetsuken wrote:thats because they aren't terrorists. Good one rofl. if you were somebody who knew jack **** about anything in the mid-east I would have had to ask "And just how the HELL do you think they got so rich? why by running statesponsored organized crime and taking advantage of their fellow countrymen via taxes and whatnot of course!"
Not all Middle Eastern states sponsor terror. And yes, they treat their public very badly. Doesn't mean they can't afford to buy weapons.

I suggest u pull back that statement now before u insult anyone else. A good number of middle east countries have poor human right treatment and some perhaps were indeed involved with the whole fiasco of terrorist (considering the term terrorist r thrown around like hot cakes nowadays), but i would recommend you watch what you r saying when u slap the term equally to all of mid east.
Back to the topic: is there any chance we might have a more accurate weaponries set for the MEC? I mean i sincerely doubt they would have T-90s for instance, and as far as i know, a number of them produces their own copy of rifle based on AKs family and others.

We're working on those, too; all mentioned in other threads. The MEC, if it's going to be kept in its current form, should not have weapons that the manufacturing states have not even mass produced (Mi-28 ) or only recently fielded (T-90).Zepheris Casull wrote:Back to the topic: is there any chance we might have a more accurate weaponries set for the MEC? That's also not going to happen. Modern military issue bayonets/fighting knives are not balanced for throwing and soldiers are not trained to do it anyway. It works fine in the circus and the movies, but against a real-life moving human being, it's useless. If your range estimate is off by not even the length of the knife, you just gave your enemy a weapon. Knife-throwing is no longer a useful combat skill, if it ever was to begin with.Darth.Skyline wrote:How about a THROWABLE Knife for PRMM ?????
Sorry, no hira-shuriken, either.

Its what the love child of an Mi-17 and a Mi-28 Havoc would look like.
Seriously though, its getting a little dated these days. The idea of being able to transport troops in a gunship is pretty cool though. Something which EA missed in the SF Mi24.

America was a tad late into the First World War. They redeemed themself's and came in slightly sooner in the Second. Now they seem determined to start the Third.

probly just a simple blade length spec in the knive code, but the US military abandoned swords in (IIRC) the late 18xxs or so... not sure of too many militaries that would see the benefit of lugging around a 5 lb sword that you hopefully use as a last resort, and you are probly screwed by then anyway (at that point, its a miracle you're still alive) - aside from that, it would be cool as hell, but in no way whatsoever realistic...
