New menu/loading screen music.........
I know this may seem like a dumb Idea but one of the things that makes me love to play games like COD:4 Modern Warfare, and watch movies like Black Hawk Down is the great music they have. IE that epic struggle music for heavy combat, that drum beats that grip the player and make you say alright I'm in the combat zone!
IMHO the music in COD:4 Modern Warfare is perfect for our Middle Eastern maps. It has that open desert warfare style too it. Plus we could come up with some better menu music for the main menu to give the player the idea that they are about to play a vary different kind of FPS mod.
I know it can't be the same music but it could be custom music that fits the style of the places we fight in. IE a city in Insurgentsy mode should have that wary it's too quiet music that makes you think well anything can happen.
While an open warfare map like Kashan would be perfect to have some hard rock music for it's menu screen as it gets the point that your in the hot zone and your about to go too full scale war.
IMHO it would make the mod feel more complete then it is now. Also any idea if we could have some Machinemia style open cut sceens like BF2 has?

I have a pretty good idea for a movie, but it'll involve a lot of stuff I can't get my hands on right now.
I thought make transitions between reality and the mod. Example: you see human British soldiers entering the city of Al Basrah, and the movie switches to the mod to show how close it is to replicating the real deal.

Sounds like a good idea. In RP unlike in BF2 you get tons of fire fights that are just like the real thing. I mean people shooting from cover, and trying to flank, as well as Vehicles and traps being set by the other team, and even the small squad tactics though not as fast as what you see in movies (They have to do lots of time compression and cut to the out come or it would be a 12 hour movie) Are much the same as what you see in real life.Cyrax-Sektor wrote:I have a pretty good idea for a movie, but it'll involve a lot of stuff I can't get my hands on right now.

If you could also then do a cut to a USMC unit in Kashan after the british get ambushed in Al Basrah to show that WW3 ha come it would be great! Also mabye show off the main draws of the mod IE realistic weapons, laser guided bombs, realistic air support roles, and of course end it with the all mighty JDAM! That would make for a killer movie!
BTW I also think the music that was in Jarhead was great. I just thought the story was ****. (Not enough time was spent on the plot for my tastes)

I agree, that music is horrid.Zimmer wrote:Can we change the music played in the background ourselfs I am just sick of the loop the menu music takes when you login.
