The FAR FAR future of PR
I mean like a year or two from now. Will you guys stick with the Battlefield franchise, or maybe go with something a bit more community friendly like half life... or has this even crossed anyones mind? haha.

i havent had the chance to play HL2 yet, but thats the first game that popped into my head when i thought about games and their community.fuzzhead wrote:In a year or two from now I will be playing Armed Assault (or hopefully OFP2)
I dont think there is much room to go anywhere with the hl2 engine???
Not if you want large outdoor environments, with 64+ players in large, complex vehicles.
what is Operation Flashpoint anyways (besides a bad *** FPS from what I hear) ive heard so much good stuff about it.

From what I've heard about HL2 mods, the reason people mod for it is because its relatively easy compared to something like UT2k4, which is supposedly more cappable (physics, ect) than HL2 but harder to mod... again this is only what I've heard, and I've never done any modding myself, so I cant give my own opinion...

HL2 is 1 of the hardest engines to mod well. Its easy to mod it badly.Zantetsuken wrote:From what I've heard about HL2 mods, the reason people mod for it is because its relatively easy compared to something like UT2k4, which is supposedly more cappable (physics, ect) than HL2 but harder to mod... again this is only what I've heard, and I've never done any modding myself, so I cant give my own opinion...
