Win/Lose Tunes

Post by Chuc »

I have to say, this may be the most trivial thing in PR, but props to the composer and player who created and implemented the tunes.. It gives PR again another flavour that can't be done through any other means. (Jaymz?)

Hardcore guitar rifts are peferrable :)

No offense to the composer, but I preferred the default Bf2 music.

I like most of the new tunes and a change always feels refreshing.

In all honesty I like the win/lose tunes, fits in the ambiance well.
Although I am not a huge fan of the GB win tune.

I'm still disappointed that all the nonfictional/ western nations got their national anthem and poor PLA has a rather strange rift.

I remember putting up a suggestion and some short orchestral anthem clips but looks like no one cared

Other than that the new music's pretty good.

I totally agree with you, Heavy Z. The Chinese deserve their national anthem as win music instead of that horrible tune from vBF2!

I have to agree that hearing the Hendrix-style USMC victory anthem is preferable to the game's default ;)

Plus the Russian Rebel victory music from BF2 seemed out of place to signify an Insurgent victory on Al-Basrah.

This was actually one of the first things I noticed when I patched. Props all around for it!

I really like the remix Bi Ming has during load up. Its so much more "rewarding" to win now just so I can hear the nice music. :)

Even tho it can be considered 'nice', fun and all. But it doesn't really feel that it fits in a reality kind of way, I don't really see the PLA army going into a break dance after a win

I like the music, but I think some of them could be improved, especially the Eastern and Middle eastern ones, which i think could be a little bit more traditional to those regions.

True, true...

No offence to composer of that Bi-Ming remix but high-BPM techno doesn't fit in very well (at least IMO) , Sorry...

i like the new music, but it does suffer from a low signal probably due to amateur recording gear...i also compose music so I'd love to do some PR stuff if the devs need it, but the current stuff is great, just needs some tweaking
