Tournament Signup Closed?????

So it appears the tournament signup is now closed? What happend to

We will adjust and expand as is required (As Project Reality always has) to provide the whole community with plenty of "healthy competition" - dont worry

I know that is taken slightly out of context as they were talking about people who had signed up getting a chance to play but there was not much of a window for signup.

I've been getting guys together from my squad so we could sign up a few of us. I've also had to change my schedule around to clear saturday nights to be able to play and now we can't sign up!!!

we acn only have so many people on ach team other wise it will become manic and people will start to complain about not getting the chance to play.

i'm sure that in the future we will expand and have several battles on the go at the same time.

Ah **** I want in bad!! I want to game with the pros.I got skill , I stick with the squad and do what I'm told. Team win comes first not my score.Please let me know when I can join something more than the Rambo/lonewolves maps.[email protected]

Sorry guys, but nobody counted on the big rush of people towards the tournament. We expected it to be popular, judging by the reactions of the public here when it was first announced, but nobody expected the teams to go over their expected size in a few days!

Teams are already some 18 people over their quota! We simply couldn't let it grow farther, that would go at the cost of the enjoyment of those already there. People would only be able to play for short times each battle, or perhaps only in a few of the battles.

Again, we're very sorry but there was no other way.

Can you branch off any? Cause i'd like to get in on this too. I'm tired of the lonewolf thing. My experience in real war experience has caused me to not enjoy the disorganization in regular games!

We are currently looking at the best solutions to expand without losing control over it all. No worries, it will open doors again.

Well, I hate to say this but....you think you have enough people, but come game night....watch for the no-shows...I think you should have a waiting line for those to take place of No-shows. Make an "Alternate" squad. Or, make a alternate squad for each team? Mulitiple Alternate squads....each squad could have a Replacement squad....Alpha Sqd 1, Alpha Sqd 2....etc. to infinity....the alpha squad would become a sort of mini-platoon full of squads that could rotate themselve on a batting roster type way....(that means each squad has its own rotational roster)

I would see the popularity, find out exactly how many people want to be in, and change it accordingly.....how many people are we really talking about here? 10 people, sorry....20 people...hrmm....50 people? 100 people?? MORE??? That would be reason enough to alter the format some, IMO!!!!

Something to THINK about, I wouldnt mind changing it up a bit to allow all to enter....maybe have 2 TEAMS of each side ....let them play it through then have the best of each side play eachother????

Make it bigger? Make the tournament 2 games, 4 teams? ladder it ...winner between them have a "play off"...this may be an opportunity for you guys!!!!
