-The only reason I didn't play Bi Ming when it was a night map was because it kept crashing. Night maps are cool(Especially when you take off your NVGs and look at all the muzzle flashes), the game crashing every time the map starts to load is not.

The reason why i didn't play much Bi Ming was because there was almost never a server running it... and if it was running it there where no players. The is basically good but i am not so much of a tree map without some heavy vehicles where i can gun in.

I love to see kashan at night but will have to keep the day version too.

It would be cool indeed to have kashan at night, but I don't think we can realistically depict this

I wouldn't mind evening, but those night vision goggles give me a headache! That's I don't like really dark maps.

Bi Ming was a bit too dark. in FH2 you have night maps that have a little ambient light since you don't have NVG. That ambient light shouldn't change just because you have the technology. The technology should enhance the given environment.

So make the night maps a little bit brighter so it's possible to maybe acquire objects and targets at close range but anything else is too dark to tell. That way NVG can be used by stationary defensive troops and slow advancing troops. Instead of everyone all the time.

^ I agree.I'd just love,love,love flying an F-16/A-10 at night on kashan with my NVG's on.

Making a map into a night map is SOOO easy...You just have to change the sky texture to a "night" one,and change your light settings,and bam,you're done...Takes 1-2min. unless you're really picky on how things look,lol...

Maybe that's not possible but in real life you have to warm up your eyes on the darkness, like a flashbang in your eyes, maybe u they can do something with that ...

How about someone in the community copies "Kashan Desert" to "Kashan Desert Night" and changes day into night and all the kits to use nvg's. Then let's try it out on a server.

Let's put some action to our words. This way, we already know how it is, instead of guessing how it would be ;) .

Just you make sure to copy the map and rename it (add "night" somewhere), so you can still play Kashan by Day ;) .

yes we encourage this kinda thing but we can't help much since we are busy with our own projects.

Alright, I'm looking into it now.

I've copied the map 'kashan_desert' to 'kashan_nights', renamed everything what needed to be renamed and "put in" the night-stuff (with some help of Rhino, thanks for that).

All seems to work. I'll now test vehicles and such, see how that is :) .

and are you going to make the bases all lighten up? and the air strips?
