Of course.Airs0ft_S0ldier11 wrote:I know the Mosins are there.
I think they were removed for balancing issues in .75? It'd just be a quick dash to the cache with it, and there's no special requirement to get them. But in reality, soldiers find SVDs used by Insurgents.

Bring up comm rose, and use the first T in Spotted as an aimpoint. Works for me.SiN|ScarFace wrote:Can't recall seeing any recently. The only problem with the Mosin is the freaking cross hairs are too thick, at 200-300m they are thicker than the person you are shooting at so if someone is in say a window, you can't even shoot them because you can't tell they are in the cross hairs!

The original cross hair from WW2 should look like this

Unless the PR one uses some other scope.

I don't see any SVDs in Basrah either. Talk about balance and reality?Killer-Ape wrote:The original cross hair from WW2 should look like this

balance = armor vs inf?
reality = lack of weapons?
I like the realism that is tanks vs inf and the reality that there are SVDs to use. The mosin is deadly. I've made some incredible shots with it at daft ranges.
The picture of the scope is brilliant.
I wonder if the range finder on PR's SVD actually works? Need to try it out next time.

though insurgents are notoriously bad shots...
1-2 SVDs at the Mosque are needed for balance issues
the real reason Brits lose often is because of veteran players preferring to play Insurgents for some reason, not because the Insurgent faction has some sort of advantage on that map.

It's the unconventional aspects you don't see in many games that attract many to the Insurgents team. The rest of the time in PR, you're playing as a modern coalition. The simplicity of the Insurgents means a challenge, and that's what some want.
And when challenge can't be handled, just go civi and pronespam.
