How to Punish
One way I believe commanders can punish SL's is by kicking them out of their squad as a leader or punish them from any kits to play. Then again the commanders could easy be over bearing and cause more damage to the team. Or if anything, the commander could have a SL mutiny button for others to vote kick SL from the squad. The SL should souly rely on the commanders decissions good or bad. It's the commander who is soley to blame for a losing game for the teams actions.

idk, I recently started working more at leading a squad and came to realize how daft so many commanders are. One commander would send me and my squad to one side of the map, we'd finally get there, fight for two minutes, then he'd switch us back to the other side of the map. During these times he would ask over text, text because he didnt have a mic, "Squad 3 WHY ARE YOU IN THE DESERT!?"
My response "Because you sent us south to Ruins and while going through the eastern desert we encountered about half the US team. There's a firebase near ruins and we are working our way towards it"
I look on my map and see 90% of our team on our Gardens bunker. Now, those SL should be punished, but Im 90% sure the Commander would have punished ME first before them.
Ive come to realize that commanders often have little idea whats going on, even when you try and keep them updated. THeyll move you around with little idea of what "clicking and ordering squad 3 to here" entails. It doesnt just happen because you clicked the button and ordered them there...
I followed his orders for 60% of the round, then finally yelled at him over Voip to think before he told us to go somewhere, to take into account where we and the rest of the team were... he slowed down on his orders and we managed to win... but god did it suck
/rant off
The gist of it? Commanders dont always do the best job either, not to say none do, nor am I saying all SLs are perfect, I just think that since you can NEVER 100% be assured of their capabilities that theres not much sense adding a "punishment" option.. for either... unless its some sort of vote kick like there is for commanders now...

A Commanders greef
OH! I understand what is being said. Some commanders are lost in the sauce but if they would look at their maps more often and listen to the SL's, then all would be well. Communication, communication, communication. That leads to victories about 75% of the time. So I will stick with a SL vote kick process like the com's vote kick process for fair play.

I dont think blocking kits would resolve your issues as an comm. If you dont like the Comm, then mutiny is there to choose for the whole team.Saint wrote:The idea is basicly ok
but i have to agree with okita... some commanders doing wierd commands! But how would it be if the commanders give the squad minus points.. for not fullfilling their duty?!
This could be a better solutions tham kicking them out of the squad or blocking any kits.
