PR made helo problems.
Why is it that both of the choppers that the PR team made lag so bad in game? Its not all the time because i can remember a few Jabal games where i flew and everything went relatively smoothly but it does happen WAY to often. I look at POE's choppers and they work well so whats going on with ours??
Do you know the cause of the problem? Can you fix it? How long will it take and is it up there on your list of "to do"?

We do not know what casues the lag, we do plan on trying to find out but its not exactly a big error in the bottom of the editor marked in red.
I really think that this problem should be fixed as soon as possible seeing as it really messes up operation archer(not that the map isnt already bugged but thats another topic). To many little things like this hurt the game.
EDIT: Oh and btw the huey in OPK works like a wet dream, a little slow but works.

I don´t really get it anymore. But I have noticed some strange things. Once I got merlin lag, got kicked for high ping (but the merlin survived). Rejoined, got that merlin back and no lag. 
Also, testing something out on a map, I got terrible merlin lag. Damn I thought, oh well, on to the apache. Afterwards I got back in the merlin, no lag.
I am not sure what causes it, a bit random, but if these weren´t coincidences, there might be a solution.
Changing gfx drivers back got rid of a lot of huey lag cases for some reason. Also, 0.7 brought on the merlin lag for me, as in 0.6 I never had it.

can you please confirm this? ie, bump your gfx back to high, see if you get the "merlin lag", and then if you do, shove it back down to low, test again, check if its gone etc? would help alot if you could confirm it, would give us something to work onAlex6714 wrote:Changing gfx drivers back got rid of a lot of huey lag cases for some reason. Um if u held a poll for who gets the merlin lag in merlin and hue u will get a billion descriptions of how they have their systems set up, low, medium, high settings, it doesnt matter, iv tried it all. The lag is random and persistant. I do agree i have not seen it as much as previously but its still there. Dont know how the devs arent seeing it. Apparently the door in the back being opened caused problems in the merlin. But if run on local server all glitches dissapear. There must be a million angry posts of this merlin glitch by now, lol.

Got to be a problem with peoples computers, because it works fine for so many people. I used to have alot of problems ( lag and bf2 memory error crashes ) but since Ive doubled my RAM to 4Gb Everythings been fine. Before I upgraded Id normally get problems around heavily detailed areas. Also I run vista with no problems.
