Blowing up at tank with explosives?

I was sneaking up behind a chinese tank (as special forces) and put two explosives at the side back of the tank. Going back and pressing the detonator, but the tank didn't get destroyed. How many explosives is demanded to blow a tank?

In real world you cant to blow a tank with C4.

Hmm, is this a feature in Realitymod or is this a feature in the BF2-patch?

And this is the one feature that will prevent me from ever going back to BF2! I always detested how stupid infantry would run towards tanks in the hopes of planting the magical C4 on them. Tanks are covered in C4 to protect them!!! DICE can all die. PRMM rules.

We still need to work out the whole problem of mines destroying rather than disabling tanks, however.
