Is there some kind of readme/manual?

Post by battle6 »

Hey y'all, I just played a few rounds of PRMM and was blown away by the intensity. I have one little question:

Why don't my C4-suicide-buggy tactics work anymore?

Just kidding!

My question is: is there some kind of doc that explains the differences between vBF2 and PRMM? For example, how only engineers can drive armor, how only SF have parachutes (nothing funnier than a whole stick bailing out of a BH and splatting on the ground, at least the first time), that enemy vehicles cannot be driven, etc. I dug around the forums and the install dir and failed to find anything like this besides the changelog, which doesn't cover the entire mod history only .25.

Any help is appreciated.

That's actually not a bad idea. I remember playing a few other mods where the huge undocumented changes were a little off putting. FH did a terrific job of creating a manual with every vehicles, weapon, and new feature they added and how they worked.

Thanks for the timely response, but damn you for making me stay up all night playing this terrific mod of yours! I will definately pass it on to my BF2 buddies.

you guys should edit your media page to have ltos of info about every new weapon, and every modified weapon in your mod. It would make your site so much more attractive and suful than just a little thumb nail with a small image attached to it. the higher the Rez the pic is of say a rifle or tank, the better it looks

Not something i'd noticed. I like the idea of dedicated classes for vehicle [armour/planes etc] though.

Only a US team member can drive the abhrams. Only Mec can drive w/e DICE gave them ( I don't remember and just don't care ATM). etc.
