AntiBaseRape script!
To end the constant baserapes, why not implement this:
From the script comment:
"This script will punish players who kill enemy within the area of a safe base. (Control point that can't be captured.)
The punishment is the following:
The victims death score will be lowered by 1
The attackers kill score will will be lowered by 1
The attackers overall score will be lowered by 2 + number of warnings
If warnings > 3 then...
The attackers TKs score will be increased by 1
If attacker is on foot, he/she's health will be lowered to 0
If attacker is in a vehicle, its health will be lowered to 1
1 warning will be removed from players history every 2 minutes
The radius for a safe base is set to 40. (Standard controlpoint capture area is 10.) "

Base raping is removed by your team not getting completely kicked in the balls. Use teamwork, get organised and don't get pushed back that far in the first place. It is war, people don't stop short of total victory just to be nice, unless you are the US and you don't feel like winning a war and decide not to attack North Vietnam. Imagine the base raping of Hanoi... damn politicians.

I was really into this idea when I first became active in prmm. Base rape is only a problem right now because there are so many incompetant(to prmm) players who just joined prmm. It won't take too long for most of them to either get the right idea of how to play or they will just drop the mod in frustration.
If a team refuses to defend it's flags they deserve to be punished for it by having a **** game. I joined gloryhoundz today and got on Dalian. The U.S. lost it's flags and was stuck on the carrier. I, in a chopper raped a bit, but I felt bad and stopped. The next round I was moved to the U.S. a few minutes into the game. I and less than ten others were the only one defending the last remaining spawn point on land. We lost it while I was waiting to respawn. We lost the flag because easily 3/4 of the damn team were on the carrier because they all wanted to fly something. Useless ******** deserved the rape that they got. I left the game hoping that the 220 points they had to bleed and get raped would teach them to play as a team.

This may create a severe imbalance. If you are penalized for killing someone within that but they can kill you.... See where this is going?

Well , since i didnt feel like making a new thread about this, and i love digging up zombie threads. i figured id make my first post here.
Baseraping is a problem on some maps.... and good teamplay cant always overcome the handicap some sides face in maps like dragon valley. On maps with all of the flags already taken AAS encourages the other team to head straight to your base for to start the rapeing. personnaly i think the best solution, although it might be hard would be to make it so that AAS told people to proceed to the first cap point and DEFEND it... being new to the mod i know that my opinion may not matter. Ive seen that there is a good amount of teamwork among the veterans of this mod... something i really like, but since 1.2 has ruined pubbing for vbf2 and there will be an outpouring of noobs and as*holes to the mods, i think something will need to be done. either having the problem maps pulled from rotation, or tweaking their spawn points so that you can either A. be capped out, or B. have the uncapables protected with more tow's/AA sites. or C. a change to AAS so that your required to defend the first cap and not rape the uncapable main base from the start. TY for your time.

I have to agree with Gran. If you are getting base raped you need to ask yourself why? Of course Base/Spawn raping/camping has been around as long as online gaming and I have never heard a great definition. Generaly I play by not attacking an enemys main with two exceptions.
1. I am suppressing thier Air Assets
2. There are still capable flags and your team is attacking my main.
