Map type : urban
gamemode : counterattack
countdown : 20 minutes

factions : USMC vs Insurgenst
Vehicles USMC : Bradley AAV 2x humvees 2x
vehicles Insurgents : technicals 3x

Vehicle spawn USMC : 2 humvees in the beginning and 2 humvees/a bradley after 20 minutes
Vehicle respawn USMC :none

Vehicle spawn Insurgents : beginning of the round
Vehicle respawn Insurgents : 5 minutes

Pickup kits USMC: 2 Mortars
pickup kits INS : 4 PKMS/6 RPG's

insurgent cant use AMBUSH kit, due to cutting the advance off completly bye ieding the bridge, bit unfair* if you die you have to respawn in the market place or HQ, for the INS. all over the place: abit fruther from market area, on the bridge and in INS cell building with all the pick ups

=========================================================

Map assets and such:

HQ building:
- fully enterable
- 6 windows, 4 to the market area and 2 towards the bridge
- acces to main roof with sandbags
- 1 LMG pointing towards bridge on the roof
- ammo caches on top of the building
- spawn point for bradley and humvee's south of the HQ
- spawns inside the building, for USMC

Market Area:
- loads of cover
- USMC CP (capable and in the form of a Rally point)

objective USMC:

USMC has to defend the HQ and market area located on the western side accros the street from Insurgents attack, armor support is on the way and will reach the HQ in 20 minutes on the southern road next to the building, to get on the counterattack.
==========================================================================

Insurgent cell building:
- fully enterable
- windows pointing to the bridge and main road
- anti tank emplacement on the roof watching the road just off the bridge
- 4 pkm pick up kits
- 6 RPG pick up kits
- technicals 3x
- ammo scattered around the building
- 2 mortars

Bridge
-vital assets they cant afford to loose it, coz USMC can advance over it in the counterattack. and is a CP just like the market area

- loads of cover so the bradley cant move so quikly so infantry have to cover him from RPG'S on the bridge full of broken car wreck and other obstacles.

- if the USMC gets this CP 2 humvee's spawn (bradley most likely already dead) and the insurgents technical spawn is cut off

- Insurgent objective:
take the market area than win bye ticket bleed before they can capture it

==========================================================================
The USMC controlled market area and HQ

Market should be real big and have enough cover to make insurgents be able to cap the area, and some urban environment abit to the the west of the market with INS spawns.

Bradley spawn is the grey spawn at the USMC controlled picture.
map would be as big as strike at karkand 32 player size i think.

If you want it, make it, we have enough tasks at the moment to complete and I've only ever once seen a public map concept been taken up, but it still wasn't from a dev thou the guy did become a dev for his static work (matt.b).

I'm liking it so far. Maybe using editor, I could make a rough version. I just got into editing however.

Why the hell should USMC have AAV's when Insurgents dont have any aircraft? :p
Never argue with an idiot, he will just drag you down to his level and beat you by experience ;)

arjan, the Bradley is meant to simulate an IFV version, used in urban combat for clearing areas, minus the Stinger AA system?

Exactly.. thats it! Add a coxial machine gun and delete the AA Stinger system. US troops use this vehicle in close combat!

Indeed. Now it has to be modeled (not sure if you can change current models, practically and legally), adjusted for power and have a machine gun. Perhaps the coaxial could be borrowed from the M1 Abrams. Adjusted movement system, as the M6 in PR can be sluggish and hard to control (will be fixed, I heard).

This is extra, but a realistic hud would be sweet.

If this can be done, either alone (many PR releases later in my case :p ) or as a group effort, it'd be epic, as the British have an IFV, the Scimitar, of their own.

like you said cyrax ;)
and the Bradley is more practical than a LAV25 in that urban area i think.
plus it wouldnt be a soldier carrier so soldiers just must carry on foot, and cooperate with the bradley IFV
