HI
Of the gazillion things I love about the PRMM, one is the way the on screen information has been cleared up. Would have been nice to at least have the option of including or excuding elements of the mess that is the Vanilla BF2 screen. Good God can you imagine if the "3D Screen" was not removeable? Yikes.
Anyway, on that note.
It would be great if a toggle-keybind could allow for brining up or removing the mini map at will. Or remove it completely.
In addition, I feel that the running scripts at the left of screen could easily be removed completely.
-This would encourage more communication/cooperation over VOIP-TS and the need to listen-
-would slow pace of game as well as add tension
-would remove screen clutter and add to the overall aesthetic of the game.
Thanks

Sounds like a good hud idea to me, I'm for it.
With the bleed out indicator is it possible to just have the red flash around the screen and a *grunt* with out the central hit detector flashing?

I am all for having less hud = more immersion.
Anyway we can bring you more into the game right?
Personally I would love to see the map gone, most of the 'text' clutter gone from the top/sides, and get rid of the mag counter/stamina bar... just add different 'huff and puff' sounds for your level of fatigue.

I'd like to add to this suggestion: I've noticed that when you're sprinting, your magazine count and your firing mode fades away until you stop.
That gets pretty annoying when you're running into an enemy position, and you've got 3 different firing modes to deal with because you have an AK-101. IT would at least help to see it while you're sprinting. It's not a big deal, but a small touch.

Sgt SoSo? teh eh? lol
Umm yea, anyways... its funny but WITH the minimap there, I find myself getting lost and having to look at it every 5 seconds to remember where I am... simply because its there.
If we got rid of it, people would have to start thinking 'oh yea its THIS corner'
to get around... I know 95% of the community already knows the maps anyways, they are just using the mini-map as a crutch if you ask me.
The only thing that we really need it for are medic/ammo requests...

HINot suggesting removal completely, just a toggle to allow for calling it up or putting it away.
Another idea would be to remake the frame surrounding the minimap and make it appear more like an eye reticle or, better yet, use the "ammo bag" from the support load out, place the mini map info there and apply a sleight zoom....that would be cool and give a realistic feel.
Anyway, not suggesting total removal, just an option.
Such a great mod should not have this much showing up on the screen.
