well, it has a heavyer barrel and some other modifications, so it will more accurate than the normal G3, I guess it will be quite similar to the M14 and far better than the SVD (which is actually more like a 2. row battlerifle than a real precisision rifle, as you can also see by the fact, that every russian infantry squad has a SVD in its rows)

Also, the SVD uses the PSO-1 scope, which is only 4x in magnification. This should be quite a boost with limited damage reduction. (7.62x54R vs. 7.62x51NATO). The SG1 will also do more damage on top of the G3A3 because of the high grain ammunition it uses.

I'm sorry,but,the gun,you've done a beautiful job on and etc.

But giving it to MEC,is just...dumb,I think.SVD fits them,very well,you gies just should've made a new one...I'll make sure to kill MEC Marksmen and take their SG1's and give it back to the Germans/KFOR...lol.

Just because they use some HK weapons doesn't mean they should use them all...Germany uses almost nothing but ALL HK weapons,but they don't use the HK SL8...

SL8 is a civilian version of the G36. Also cause the dev said so, and they do what they want

well, the point is, that the MEC will get all handweapons from EU companys and not like in (normal) vBF2 from Russia and the SVD especially isn't really better than the MECs main assaultrifle, since it does less damage.
As if written above, the SVD isn't actually made for such huge distances as the other DMR, but to outrange the AK-47 what isn't that hard, so the DMR should be used till 600m distance while the SVD is made for distances till 400m
