Ensure all squads full before new?

Post by AznLB »

Is there any way you guys could revamp the squad system so all other squads would have to be full or close to full before a new squad could be made? I'm really tired of seeing a dozen one-man squads....

Just a suggestion

Holy ****, I hate that so much. I make Alpha squad, and then some guy makes Bravo, a buncha people join his squad, then some people make Charlie and Delta and in the end my squad, which was the first to be created, ends up with ONE person (me)

I disagree with that. It would make forming squads very tricky and if you have a bunch of specific people in your squad it could mess this up.

Well, that's the thing, squads aren't designed so you and your one other clanmate can go snipe, they're intended to be used as full fighting groups. I just came out of a round on GH, where I counted seven one to two-man squads.

Project Reality vets always do their best to make sure squads have at least four people

to be honest, it should only depend on how many people are playing. when we were playing a couple nights, there were 3x three man squads and everything was coordinated perfectly... we couldnt of done it if there were only 2 squads.

i think the 2 man squads are something we just might have to deal with. also... if they werent in a two man squad, they would just be lone wolfing, or they would be taking up valuable space in YOUR squad.

I'd rather have a small squad with a few vets that I know will work together than having a full squad made up of me, medic, and 5 supports that are usually found on oppostite ends of the map.

i think squad formation should remain fairly flexible. nobody should be forced to join a squad with someone they dispise, that's just not fun. but i DO believe that everybody should be forced to be in a squad, even if it's a one or two man squad. at least, theoretically, orders can be given and communicated with all the squads.

In someways its good and some bad. Often a squad is left empty, but wen i make a 2man sniper squad, i dont want it to be filled ;)

EDIT:
The more squads you have, the less the chance your leader will be killed, so you can keep spawning near the enemy. So i think 2x 3-man squads is better than 1x 6-man.
