pretty much, if you can judge where the little 'crosshair' WOULD be, you're just as accurate :)

You could always paint a crosshair in the middle of the screen.

is it red orchestra that has a system inplace for true to life hip-shooting?

i forget what they call it, but it eliminates being able to 'paint' a crosshair on the monitor and using that to cheat doesnt it?

Actually, iron sights improve accuracy by 40%, so you are more accurate when using iron sights than when shooting from the hip.

Yeah, its a little like in Operation Flashpoint, where there is a little "deadzone" where the weapon moves but not the screen if that makes any sense.

yea exactly braddock... and yes i understand that the iron sights 'tightens' the cone of fire on the weapon, but if you know where the middle of the screen is you can almost 90% of the time place accurate fire from an un-IS view.

at least I know I can

Like a small piece of cigarette paper at just the right point. used that in clan matches as a sniper in DoD [first time I used an indelible marker.... Not twice!]

Don't do it anymore but its bloody easy to do. I'd like it to be sorted too.
