Vehicle VOIP

Post by Sirsolo »

Hardcoded. Close me down.

First off, Im pretty sure this is:
a) Comepletly and utterly impossible
b) If possible, a total pain in the *** for the 700000 Devs that need to figure out how to do it.

But here's an awsome idea (if it's possible)

Vehicle VOIP. So... we have Squad VOIP... we have Commander VOIP... why not a Vehicle based VOIP?

Many a time do I see: "Pilot.. E6 please"
(Speaking of which, I think it should be in Choppers only.. Tanks & APC's being a maybe... since it would get pretty cluttered [Chat wise])
And it would be super cool if we could be all: X-Pilot, drop us off at E6... Oh noes! An anti air to our left! Pwn manouvers!"
=) Just another thought

Despite it being a big resuggestion of a resuggestion of a suggestion, I think it's healthy that so many people are noticing this fatal-flaw in the VoIP system.

I remember way back in BF2 a few years ago thinking "I wish we had vehicle VoIP so I can scream at these arses to jump out before I tip over!"

But yes, very very hardcoded unfortunately!

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

I wrote that after I made the post, found it in the already suggested suggestions, and there wasn't a single reply on it yet. Reading skills would be appreciated =/

You not being a jackass would be appreciated too.
