Fools Road - Missing Spandrel

The Militia Spandrel that used to spawn after about 20 minutes is not spawning anymore since the v0.75 patch. At least not on the servers I've been playing on.

Is this intentional?

It's still in the config listed as "brdm_0" using template for "iraqapc_spandrel". Maybe the setControlPointID is wrong or something.

Add: A fair guess would be that the removal of the ControlPoint at Militia Main has something to do with it. Maybe one forgot to change the value for the spandrel.

Come on DEVS, you had no problems seeding out the Heli Base bleed for the GB team pdq

At least acknowledge whether the missing Militia BRDM Spandrel is intentional or an error that will be fixed.

Do the DEVS even read this section. It's an obvious error. Wouldn't be to hard to acknowledge would it?

As far as I was aware the Spandrel was removed in the .75 patch

Yes, and such small bugs that frankly don't change the game that much (I've seen it go either way many many times, pretty evenly spread) are NOT going to get their own patch.

SocketMan; There are far far bigger things for the devs to be concentrating on than a missing vehicle that has little bearing on a map. That you seem to think that fuzzhead removed it to give the brits an advantage is utterly stupid (offence...I don't care). Bitching, whining and sarcasm will not get you what you want here, you're not pulling a tantrum in the middle of a supermarket with an embarrased parent, it ain't gonna work.

The bug was reported and acknowledged long ago. If it is fixed, then it will be done in .8. If it's not fixed, it's not and probably won't be. The map is still well balanced without the Spandrel, get over it.

In case you hadn't noticed folks, the Dev team are gearing up to 0.8. Releasing a hotfix to 'sort out' Fool's Road (when the Militia were given tanks only to help force the militia to play more defensively, leaving the British as the more mobile force - in line with IronTaxi's design plan for the map) isn't exactly high priority when any asset changes etc to all maps can be undertaken all at once in a major release.

SocketMan: your attitude on these forums is disgusting... grow up man.

To original poster: PM is a good system to get someones attention, often these forums are covered in spam and contrary to popular belief, we do not scour the forums night and day in search of posts ;)

Anyways the Spandrel will be making a return to fools road now that it has been properly audited and its issues have been fixed.
