yeah but its says mec so we can assume its a coalition of ME nations

so who says they cant push into northern africa? maybe a conflict in tanzania ? i dunno

I can't think of a good reason atm...

China going in would be interesting tho, since they trade with alot of the 'disreputable' groups like Zimbabwe and several rebel groups such as in Darfur.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean we can't have them as separate factions. After all, Iran and Iraq were against each other in the Iran-Iraq war, not sure if they'd be best of friends to form up. And none of the MEC soldiers speak Farsi, native tongue of the Iranians.

Russia and China are part of Asia, but the Militia and PLA aren't the one force. :)

Oh I dunno. Allegiance in many parts of the world, especially the middle east, is bought with support both political and material. Saddam was with the US and the Russians at different times. Iran used to be an American proxy and now... well definitely isn't. We created the Taliban along with the Mujahideen to fight the Soviets and now they're our big enemy.

There are all kinds of reasons and ways that seemingly oppositional nations can unite, even if only for a few years.

Its a soup of nonsense and mania; national and political associations. CNN doesn't do any of the complexity justice.

well, remember that the EU faction only talked english, and that dosent mean that they were only from the UK .
