UPDATE

Classes are out, so I am able to work more on this skins.

I will be working inside out, so I am going to wait a bit before posting up screen shots


but you can expect them!

Alright guys


Before I go any further what do you think of the color?


I am going to do both desert and woodland

So :D ideas?

I think I may do a base coat, add imagery and then tone it to the colors later.. still thinking on that.

EVEN FOR THE BACK THIS IS VERY VERY WIP!

Nice looking skin, but watch out, the Vodnik on the picture you are using was wet, and a wet vehicle in the desert look weird ;)

:D I know

I am just using it for reference for the Camo, i am going to remove all of the dents and such and make my own in a bump map


in 3 days this back will look completely different; I really like to mess with textures with my own made brushes rather than put pictures in.

For the colours, you should use the same ones as the other MEC vehicles, so it fits in with them. It will look weird having all the MEC vehicles, then suddenly the Vodnik all different.

Yeh, But the thing is;

If I recall correctly, isn't someone redoing all of the MEC camo skins?

That would be me... but it will not be done for .8, or maybe even at all, so I would not go with that. If I do get completed, it will be fairly easy to change the colour of this to match mine, as you will have the PSDs.

Just make it look like the current MEC skins for now.

well, since i was a litle bored , i decided to make some work in my vodnik skin (note , this is not the final skin , witch AirCasper is doing) and also add some fancy ways of render i just learned :D

anyway to make teh side hatch open up so one can shoot out it?
