Pretty good. Try making one with the fire more dispersed, so that it doesn't sound like you're in the middle of a huge-*** firefight. More like the odd shot and burst kicking off now and then.

And one thing: the sound quality is a bit so-so. Did you get sounds from YouTube?

How did you made this? Because ive been thinking on replacing the hellfire launch sound with a better one. And also the cannon sound of choppers.

Thanks for the nice comments! And for making this sounds there are several ways too make them but the realistic one is to record on a shooting range without any birds around and only pure silence which is hard to find. Though i am not using this method beacause i dont have time/equipment as well. So therefore i sometimes record some minor things from youtube etc.. and then edit it so it sounds right and so on. With this sound there were like nearby fire and therefore i applied some filter for the sound so i could be able to make it sound like it was fired from distance. I can post the original sound as well so you can compare it!

Here you can compare the orginal with the one that i made

Incredible stuff.
If this is protraying to Modern, especially to Project Reality's standards, you gotta take out the MG42/MG3 fire. More Assault Rifle fire, and some sounds have to sound more Ambient. Some of the sounds I noticed sounded too distant.

you know this reminds me of the background noise on street, that really added ambience, id like to see this used in city maps, i think there should be more maps which are part if a city rather than a mini city like ejod, this would go well, but keep periods of calm at the moment it sounds like stalingrad.

Question: Can you make the hellfire and its friends sound right. And also the cannons on the attack choppers?

Especially from the cockpit.

It must sound more like this:

Great, but PR already has a firefight background sound by the players weapons. I think PR is the only game that doesnt uses a background sound.
[R-DEV]OkitaMakoto:"Cheers, you're the man, Okita"
[R-DEV]Rhino:"I in fact got kicked from a server for tking."
Hitperson:"well done, treasure it forever."
[R-DEV]Adriaan:"Damned classy Roma, if I may say so."
[R-DEV]Chuc:"Pro man, pro."
(yes, it was about me)
[R-MOD]BloodBane611:"Romagnolo, you definitely deserve a LOL award for that."

Actually RO and Day of Defeat Source also use distance sounds to rather good effect. But that's the extent of my knowledge of the subject..

Call of Duty United Offensive uses Distant Sounds. RO and CoDUO's Distance sounds aren't realistic, but they're interesting. I can't speak on Day of Defeat; I don't play it.

I think the Game that gives the most realistic demonstration of Ambient Warfare is Call of Duty 2. Call of Duty 4 has some good Distant Gunshot samples.

Dude thats is so wrong it almost seems like you're being sarcastic. RO has really interesting distant sounds and all the cod games doesnt have it! day of defeat has even better distant sounds then the cod games. So overall ro has the best one. You should really do some research before posting theories!

yeah sure so you want the cannon and the hellfire sound?

Ok here it is i think it was a bit off with the quality.. but you wont hear that much if youre in a chopper firing at Insurgents!

Noo ohh you guys probably mean ambient sounds and not real distant sounds. Cause RO has really good distant sounds!

??? Like Mora said, are you being Sarcastic, lol?

Re-read my comment; I did say RO has interesting distant sounds. I said it wasn't realistic. The only Call of Duty Game with Distant Sounds is Call of Duty United Offensive. Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4 has Distanst Gun Sound samples, but they're not automatically from the weapons.
And I said I couldn't speak on Day of Defeat, because I don't play the game.

Well ok i misunderstood what you were writing :P well mora what do you think of the new sounds that i made for you? The reason why the apache 30 mm seems a bit outside is beacause when youre inside a chopper it will probably sound more like that!

Sorry but those sounds you have will never make it into PR, they are simply too low on quality and sound like nothing.
