Where there's smoke

Post by paco »

If you don't get the Adnan Hajj thing, read this: Where there's smoke : August 2006 : Shane Richmond : Technology : Telegraph Blogs

The guys posing, as HATs flew over our heads, were, left to right: dead4sure, *UNSTF Horzah and *UNSTF SSgt.ChainsaW_NL.

(Trying to clone badly is harder than you think. I'm starting to believe this Hajj guy really is a PS wiz, although he isn't too bright.)

1. Nice defence ;-)
2. Honey, do you remember where did I park our Challenger? :? :
3. New basic kit, perhaps? ;-)
4. Doing my job on Al Basrah (blowing up merlins)

EDIT: Sorry for the font, I just wanted to be special :D , and for the pics (not high quality I guess)

Indeed, please reserve this thread for any particularly high-quality ones (look at what Bobo posted for an example), and use the general pictures thread for everything else.

Question: May count as spam:

How do you get the screenshots without being in game? Like.. looking at yourself?

Is it with Battlerecorder?
If so: Poop. =(

(Is there a way to get battlerecorder to work if the server itself doesnt have it?)

Yep, through battle recorder (or have someone else take pics :P ).
You can start a local server (multiplayer > create local), once in-game, open up the console and type: demo.recordDemo <insert name here>. Once done, open up console again and type: demo.stopRecording.

Then put the demo file that's in your mods/pr/demos/ directory in your 'my documents' directory (something like battlefield 2/profiles/default/demos/).

Then go to your community tab and it should be listed there :) .
If it isn't listed, restart the game (or you've put it in the wrong location? ;) )

Good luck.

But there's not way to do it on online servers then?
