Well thats the thing, its just an idea, as i'm not too brilliant with computers.
As for the craters, yeah probs wouldnt work, but more scenery and cover, would be nice.

D.I.C.E.'s selection of voice commands was absolutely horrible.

For squad leaders, we need some more command based ones, such as...

"Covering/suppressing fire!"
"Flank left/right!"
"Fall back!"
"Find some cover!"
"Hold your fire!"
"Fire on my lead."
"Open fire!"
"Practice proves more than theory, in any case."

"Can you spell mutiny sir???"
"Are you crazy!!"
"Did you know you are the squad leader??"
"We can't spawn on you if your dead"

Yup, we need some commands for the squad members too.

Martini: LOL

Cerebus: Yes very nice selection, it would be kickass if squad leaders had a differnet set of voice commands.

Here are some more that I thought should be thrown in:

'Contact!'
'Im pinned!'

squad leader commands:

'Column Formation'
'Line Formation'
'Wedge Formation'
'Keep your spacing/ Stay in formation!'

A spotting for mines/c4/claymore, or simply 'Enemy Explosive Spotted'

AA voice commands might SOUND nice, but accesing them is horrible, and no one listens to them anyway.

The fact that there is localizational sounds in BF2 makes it infinitely better (IE you actually hear the guy yell Go Go Go! and the closer you are to him, the louder it sounds)

No! Please, I beg you, get RID of all the commander's "Spotted" audio. I would <3 to spot for our team, and I do, but it's DEATHLY annoying and I have to stop every now and then just for the team's sanity. :) And let me apologize if I annoyed you during a match.

But yes, a silent spot of enemy equipment like that would be very smooth. I'd really appreciate an update on this "spotty" issue if it is already set to be implemented for a future build.

Yea - the commanders spot commands - are killing me..Too much noise..simply.

I would love to have a radio guy on team.

Instead of totally wipe out the use of arty.
Squad leader - Points to area - either on map or in field...Where to call arty!!..
But Radio guy - should use he's radio to make it happend.. And still - there should be a commander to agree with it..
Then... I think Commander should not be able to put artillery in game at all..Only by communicate with Radio-man. Cause it's simply destroying the game to have artillery every 15 second..or so.

Wouldnt it be fun to watch Squad leader and Radio-man communicate..
"I need Artillery On THAT LOCATION!" - And then Radio man calls for it. That would mean that Artillery would only be possible if Radio-Man is alive and within range of hearing Squad leader!!

Further promoting TeamWork.. But then i think "maybe" squads would need 7 people in it instead of 6.
Also "I Need an Airstrike on this location!!!" Again - Radio-Guy would call over the radio - Giving only orders to Aircraft/choppers ect. - Targets only for aircrafts..

One more thing - When throwing granades... I think it would be smart if the thrower would hear he's own voice yelling Throwing granade Same goes for the Ammo throws... What does stealth mean if our ammo dude just blow our cover - yelling "Here Ammo" - "Have some".."ive got some more - here right here!" It's like having a dog on team barking - Voof voof... Dog can't hear he's own voice... Dog don't know it's barking behind enemy lines... hahaha. Death to us all...

When i was in the army we mostly used hand signs..And it worked fine when we spotted enemy - we didnt need to talk at all.

And If the lineformation or wegde formation voice should be included - then make a flash on screen - Or an icon showing how that looks like in real life..

Cease Fire / Fire at will... Also important if you want to flank the enemy or surprise them..

PS: sorry this letter got so long. Thomazz..

I'm not a big fan of the first suggestion, but those commands would be handy.

although, In think Hold your fire would be more universal than Cease fire. It would be handy for a squad leader!

so, dev people, how easy/hard is it to just script in a new voice command from the q menu? cuz bf2 has like...10... whereas 42 had like 35. you could literally have a conversation in 42. espeically with fh, where each voice command had 3 different ways of being said....

I want that!

Yea.. I love playing and helping your squad... You do the line formation and everything..
One thing i always do - is go into line formation by looking at radar - To keep the line.

The one voice command I feel is the most important one is "enemy down." When your entire squad is firing at a target and only a few see him go down the rest of the sqaud is still firing at that location. Or being able to send up a few guys to check for the target. Man I wish my mic worked.
