I think a MEC v Insurgents would be interesting and realistic as just because they are a middle eastern coalition, doesn't mean they are terrorists...

That would be quite nice i think, thaen its G3 vs AK47 ant that is fun by itself, but imagine T-90 or BTR-90 vs terrorist, that be cool

The sad truth is that DICE, as well as some of the map descriptions in PR, treat the MEC as terrorists, or at least proponents of terrorism. Actually, the MEC would be a secular fighting force - which would have a good chance of pissing off Islamic radicals and leading to insurgency.

Who cares what DICE says about MEC, mec IS what we make of them and not DICE's description

DICE says they have AK's , we say "Yeah right" and stick G3's to them and the HK family and made them better as faction

MEC vs Ins would be great indeed, especially if we think about the huge advantage ins would have over MEC in CQC. (G3 is useless on full auto)

I like the idea. It'll be like Spetznas dealing with Rebels in Special Forces. Something fresh. Both sides would speak MEC (taken from init.con), so you wouldn't if that guy saying "thanks" was friendly or hostile.
