Well it depends on the looking. Which is why I don't have a problem. I of course will be looking up, maybe down a bit. If I am watching the skies then it doesn't get in the way. But the other point is that to look around it means taking a hand off the controls, which you lose with bf2s strange free look system.

I sort of fail to see how this is that important. I am not looking at the view I concentrate on flying and being ready to move in an instant. Looking around is my gunners job.

Well of course, only when you have the opertunaty to look around. When hovering or something, you just cant fly around and hold free look all the time. But look around ocationally will help.

Firstly, the fact that the canopy is slightly out of kilter is a very minor point. Have you ANY idea how much work goes into making a new model that works in-game? Clearly not if you're asking for the canopy to be pushed back slightly.

Secondly, yes there's an issue that can be raised here about apache pilot field of view. Making comments like "are you pissed off at me yet, Devs?" isn't the right way to raise them.
