VIP Escort Mode?

I've just read something about a "VIP Mode" in pr. Is it true? was there something like an VIP mode? and why has it been taken out? =/

yes there was, and it wasn't very popular.

In a new game mode coming up it should be possible to set the map up with the game mode to have this kind of objective if the mapper wishes how ever, so if you want you could make a map based around this idea?
