instant accuracy when jumping up from prone.

Post by Ghost33 »

I find it very cheap that if I am aiming at someone who is lying down on the other side of a wall waiting for them to pop up that they can get a more accurate shot off at me before I cam fire back. Is their a way to temporarly make the CoF huge about a 1/2 to 1 sec after a position switch?

I'd have to agree with this. Exactly the same when vice versa. You don't even hit the ground before you can fire with deadly accuracy.

if u want to change that, u have to change that also for that ones who just dive to the ground and shoot with highest accuracy towards you.

that goes for any position switch, cause if you drop to a knee or slam to the ground on your chest you would still need to adjust the sights back on the guy you were aiming at.

Sorry to revive this thread from the dead, but I totally agree about the fact that this needs to be fixed. Going prone may take from 1 to 2 seconds, and you shouldn't be able to put your sights on while doing so.

Oh, and btw hi all, I'm new to the forum. :)

I'm not sure about going from knee to standing and vice versa will affect aiming much IRL, as I can hold my ironsights steady while changing positions.

I think this should be the main priority fix for the next version of PR. Were trying to make this as realistic as possible, and these sort of DICE/EA limitations are really getting in the way.

What's great is when you go back into the battlerecorder and watch it afterwards and while that guy was laying behind the wall with no way of seeing you his head still tracks your every movement....

agh, revive again for this one :)

last night I had a guy go from standing, to prone, to crouch, to prone... and the whole time he was firing away happy as day on my troops.

COME ON, not only does it look stupid when their gun is pointed at the sky (the animation for prone to crouch I think) but its very very crapeh.
