They removed the 3D map warning for mines, so you can't see them any more. You can mark them on the map with the huge symbol, but rarely someone does that and even if they do, it still doesn't tell where exactly the mines are.

To be honest I only mine places, where I know an enemy vehicle will come...

Well, i have plenty. unfortunately, alot are from my nubness at PR.

- Trying to figure out WTH i die when entering a command truck...(noticed the "not the right kit for this position" after 2 deaths)

- being in a vehicule and deciding to leave and rejoin squad so we can make so-and-so SL, only to die from being squadless in a vehicule for x seconds, Dead, with an empty tank in the middle of nowhere (was going to pickup a squaddie)

- playing the invasion map from US carrier only to be in a round where the insurgent played well and the USMC like noobs and are spawn camped on the Carrier. No one is able to make it out due to no coordination, APC's make it out but SL does not get out to make RP when on bench and end up getting AT'ed, Helo pilot dont know to avoid the initial wave ot AA by dropping flares and then flying in behind the carrier and low... that one was terrible and frustrating.

-Nading self due to mouse-lag issue.

-calling in VOIP only to realize i had changed my key bindings and yelling into nothing for a minute

accidentaly firing the RPG into my foot while we where grabbing kits from the RP. everybody died...

You can't see them, because they somehow blend in (not green, more black) especially on maps with dark lighting like Fools Road they are a PITA to see.
If you drive a Vodnik, they driver position is too high due the thing being on 1 m high springs, if you drive a Land Rover/Humvee the hood blocks your view etc. and generally you drive too fast to stop in time.

Last night on Tactical Gamer server. Was defending train depot, in a land rover on the 50.cal it went quiet but the squad i was in was tasked to defend it. So i sat there watching the road from militia bunker. Then all of a sudden i was kicked i first went wtf for then read "kicked for being idle" Laughed a little. But i thought that moving around in the turret was movement but hey obviously not??

my reflexes just don't seem to be what they used to be, so any time i play PR i usually end up getting shot while trying to do simple tasks. I try to scan my horizons but it seems like somebody always pops up behind me as soon as i turn around. I sort of gave up on trying to avoid that. I try to make myself useful in any way that i can. I have had one or two really outstanding rounds, but for the most part i finish games with one or two kills and dozens of deaths

Today, MEC commander on Jabal. We rush West, I go into the hills with the Vodnik, ambush tons of infantry and shoot out a pilot out of the Huey.
All goes well until I got to East Beach, owned another bunch of RP-less infantry and one support gunner survived. Didn't notice it until the enemy bunker appeared out of nowhere, because that lone wolf SAW shoveled it. After that all went to hell. Like the entire US team spawns there, MEC is too stupid to flank or anything, we lose West, I order all to defend Dam and while Reddish Red's BTR takes out one APC, no one gives a damn, no squad has a RP and everyone is walking across the map. I get sniped by some M16A4 and see that no one defends Dam and the bunker I deployed there was not built. Then everyone goes for West Beach again <.< and due the fact that US gets more tickets on that map, we kinda were losing the entire time.

My worst experience... Whats that one, with the big river running through the center of the map, I don't think its Qwai, I think its the one with the Airdrop flag, and the one little town in the middle... Ergh!! I forgot the name. Anyway, I was the US, and in a squad doing a great job. I was the Medic, and a guy died nearby me. I walked over, revived, him, stood back and tried to signal him to come to me, out of the line of fire. He got shot, and me, being the good little medic I am, walk over, and revive him. I heal him a little bit, get shot once (not bleeding) get back under cover and try to get him to come to me. He dies (of course) and I revive him. Apparently he thinks I'm a "n00b" and he TKs me, thinking I don't know what to do. Great. :d uh:

I have another one... I just forgot it... let me think... Whatever.


Despite these, PR is great

I was a pilot for a black hawk with a commander and a squad in it...As i was flying towards the bunkers in Kashan i had a huge lag spike and when it finally disappeared the helo crashed

-If someone's flying along and suddenly takes a nosedive you know it's a lag spike.

-Had a horrible time on Al Basrah yesterday, not because of bad teamwork(Though the CO could have been a bit more innovative) but because the insurgents were playing so well. My squad took out the first two visible caches at warehouse and then stuck around waiting for the CO to get over there with a truck, and that's when all hell broke loose. On by one suicide cars came crashing into every vehicle we had, taking out three trucks in succession as the CO got them over there, then taking out some armor and land rovers. Wherever our team went the entire insurgent team followed and ripped us apart. We had a firebase up for 2 minutes, then it got blown up time after time as we tried to repair it. My squad then moved to the western side of the map because we were stuck on the eastern side, and we tried to get a FB up but once again a suicide car came crashing into us. We finally got a FB up down in D6 or something and managed to keep it alive for a short while before it got taken down again. By this time most of our team had left and I started moving my squad towards the next cache, but because people just can't manage to ignore enemies once in a while we got spread out and by the time I managed to get up another RP a suicide car came by and blew us all up. It was so intense, not a moment passed without a bullet whizzing by or a car circling us, or RPGs landing right next to us, it was epic. Congrats to whoever played on the insurgent side, you pissed me off so much .

okay, this is the worst experience in PR EVER!!!!

I was the commander(0.6) of the Chinse army in Qwai River....anyways, the round was awesome!! the team listened to me almost 100% of the time, the US opposition was minimized, and I think they were "nubz". The round was all but won, we had them up against the wall, we were minutes from taking their last flag, and we had a squad protecting the only flag thst they could cap to make a counter offensive.
Anyways, I made the mistake of saying(I DID NOT THINK IT WAS RACIST AT THE TIME!!) to the tune of "Cops" "Whatcha gonna do when the C---ks come for you?"

And....I personally was called b--ner last year, I hate racism and I did not mean to be racist in any way, but anyways, I got kicked, no biggie I'll join after the game ends and keep playing after I say sorry(since I knew what got me kicked). But then instead of letting me in or saying you may not join for 1 minute....it said You have been banned...

O F-CK ME! I got BANNED FOR LIFE!!!!!!
Then I went to the TG site and joined, then made a thread and asked who banned me. It turns out,the admin who banned me for making that comment was Korean...o f@ck berrys

So I appologized to him and told him about how I was called Racial names last year by a racist, and how I didn't mean to be offensive. Luckily he understood and I was unbanned.

BUT I CAME THIS CLOSE TO BEING BANNED FOR LIFE FROM THE #1 PR SERVER!!!! ops:

I haven't TKed anyone this year and today in one round on Al Basrah I managed to TK 3 peoples

To add to the insult in the same round I accidently finished off our own cache. A soldier was right over it (was already smoking) with something in his hand (I was around 100 yards away) so in desperation I launched a grenade at him (I was a SL). Now AFAIK grenades don't hurt caches, however it caught fire and then exploded. So I get the message that I'm a traitor and got killed. Had some explaining to do after that.
