You do realize that if you pull up the squad screen you still see the mic icon light up when squad members talk right??

I for one encourage smacktards and the like to join communities like mayg0t. It makes it so much easier to ban them and their alts XD.

They use umpteen hacks to get round bans though. Communities just make them better at what they do.

Well, at the very least the amount of players doing this sort of stuff is still in the minorities. The only way to counter it is with well admined servers.
It amazes me as to why someone goes out to purchase a game (Then download a mod) only to cause grief to others and get themselves banned. I mean it's like buying a car only to purposely crash it into someone else's car. I think the biggest reason people do this is the lack of serious consequences.

lol, I can see it now:
"Hear ye hear ye hear ye, this court is now in session, the honorable Judge Rhino presiding. Mr. Griefer, you stand accused of excessive smacktardness and being a detriment to the species, how do you plead?"
"**** you *****, you're a ******* **** ****** ****** **** *****"
"This court sentences you to twenty years hard labor while listening to Fast Rope suggestions"

Yes, but what I was referring to was the Pageup/pagedown "negative" / "Affirmative" spam that usually goes on during the beginning of each round. For some reason, some people's name will show up on chat while others do not... my bad for the confusion.LeadMagnet wrote:You do realize that if you pull up the squad screen you still see the mic icon light up when squad members talk right??

The worst part of this kind of rage community is that they usually got a pretty good hacker, giving hacks out to the rest of the community. The hacks are often for CSS. I've seen videos and pictures of hacks preventing the people in a server to mute the rager. I have also seen an example of these people hacking the server giving them admin authorisation and manipulating with the graphichs and such.
Thankfully it doesn't seem that they've hacked anything on the BF2 engine. I've only seen them exploiting glitches i.e. standing in a solid buildings and such.
Let's hope it stays that way and let the CSS players deal with these f......

Well PR is pretty vigilant I think so they don't last long before being banned.
The advantage of a small community.
The advantage of a small community.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

Squad Leaders and Commanders have their comm rose messages appear, because they take a higher priority over the grunts. Squad members 'affirmative' command only appears when they're in vehicles. On foot, they do not get a message.PRC_Heavy_Z wrote:Yes, but what I was referring to was the Pageup/pagedown "negative" / "Affirmative" spam that usually goes on during the beginning of each round. That's a local message which is only heard within a small radius, unfortunately the pre-spawnpoint still counts in that manner so everyone hears it.PRC_Heavy_Z wrote:Yes, but what I was referring to was the Pageup/pagedown "negative" / "Affirmative" spam that usually goes on during the beginning of each round.
