Its a good idea to bake everything on a single 2048 texture sheet instead of having 4-5 smaller ones. Especially since you have high res base textures done already.

Edit: except the cockpit which should be on its own sheet :)

Ok , i am working on col`s now , but have 1 quastion about rear door.Normaly rear door is closed when heli on ground or in air , but it goes open only when gears coming out or in,
i have tryed last time on the old model to let them work like that ,but there was mistake in code that i couldn`t fix so i have decided to let them open on the ground.It will be cool if some of you PR can fix it later when i send game content of the heli.Can you fix it?

Check image ,take am look heli have not 1 rear(back) door but 2 on each side, 1 of them is open on the ground other one is always closed and goes open only if landingear comes out or in.

what kinda doors are these? landing gear doors or doors for the pilot to climb into? You need to make it clear and I cant see from that pic thou to me it looks like a landing gear door?

HAha ofcourse its landinggear doors , not for pilot to climb, haha.

have them as normal landing gears and just have them open when its on the ground. You can start the landing gear off so when it spawns and before any players get into the chopper they are "closed", but as soon as a player gets into the chopper they will open, but if the player gets out of the chopper they will stay open.

I forgot to ask 1 quastion more , adevice i will work on this gear to long to get pivot in right place. is it possible to let gear not only rotate but move inside.Example: (gear rotates z=-90 and moves x=-2) i remember i have find 1 time option like this in editor but dont remember was it for 2142 or bf2.

if you found it in the editor it was for BF2 but I'm not 100% sure on this thou I'm pretty sure its possible :)

have you played 2142 remember supply from support kit or medic kit doors moving sidewards.Hoop it`s work for bf2 also.I remember something like this but forgot.

like i said, if you found it in the editor then its to do with BF2 as there has not be a "BF2142 editor" released, although there are ways to get the BF2 editor to work with BF2142, did it myself in the beta :p

That ammo box thing could have and probably was done by a animation and not a landing gear

Pfuu after hard night of work i have got all col`s + destroyed model.From Now gonna start work in maya 6. Lods will come as last part in maya 6.
