My biggest gripe - installation

Forget it, making things simple isn't on the agenda and making the wrong suggestion in the suggestion forum gets you scorned.

2. Install 0.7, then 0.7 maps
3. download and install patch

Really not much different from anything else except for the map installer. Where are you getting hung up?

I installed bf2
Then installed bf2 patch
Installed PR
Then installed patch+maps
Maps installed to a different directory. (Where I got hung up)

The thread has complicated instructions. I know I'm doing it wrong. I'm leaving feedback to indicate that there could be a MUCH easier way of installing maps.

1. Project Reality : Battlefield 2 Mod - Mod File Links
2. Download & install client (core)
3. Download & install client (levels)
4. Patch to 1.41
5. Play!

You should be good to go.

The patch is only needed if you have a previous installation of PR. If you do have an old version, I recommend deleting the mod folder, which can be found here: (DRIVE):\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods. Delete the 'pr' folder if there is one.
