Was that an MG42 at 2:19? :D

Will be...interesting to see US equipment against US equipment when you invade them. Sure most of it will be smashed in the opening minutes, but they'll put up more of a fight than what was left of Iraq's.

I ain't arguing with a weapon with the ROF that the '42 can pump out. Nothin' wrong with old weapons, especially if they work. 'Tis why the M2 HMG is still in use; it's such barn door engineering that nobody can seem to beat it :D

vietnam gear ftw lol
Not that unlikely since most of the footage is from the 80's Iran-Iraq war.

It proved to be a cheap, highly mobile, and effective anti-tank platfrom during the Iran-Iraq war. In a real combat situation he would obviously slow down to give the gunner a chance to aim.

Eh, probably an MG3, And so what? The U.S M2 Browning is from 1920's, but still widely used today.

I just love it when these teen armchair warriors pass judgement on other countries militaries. Don't fool yourselves, most of you have never even held a rifle, let alone fired it. Go back to playing computer games, or watch another episode of Future Weapons/Weaponology on the Discovery channel...

People are going to buy weapons anyways, so might aswell make some money yourself.
I don't think however they are still selling spare parts to them, and those desert sands look very punishing on moving parts. I wonder how they keep those choppers and planes going.
If you can read this the ***** fell off.

they make their own, arms embargoes have forced the iranians to look inwards for developing, improving or even improvising with their equipment.

Looks like a nice mix of nam-era US gear and Current and imediate past russian gear.

It looks like an RPG off the back of that bike.
I remember seeing/hearing that the iranians have a platoon of anti-air motorcyclists, which are basically a couple of blokes on a bike, one with an SA-7.

I could see the RPG working in a tight-knit urban enviro. as you have the speed and manouverability to outflank armour quickly and get in some rear-damage.

...mongol...
