"Reloading!"

Post by Figisaacnewton »

Here's an idea:

Similar to when you are 'critically wounded' and you click, it produces a scream for a medic, would it be possible to make it so that when you are reloading and you click, it produces a 'Reloading' or 'Cover me I'm reloading'?

Is that possible?

That isn't a bad idea, as long as it's only heard in the immediate area (like when you throw a grenade) and not over the radio.

I don't like the idea of the enemy just the other side of the fence from you hearing that though.

I always shout reloadng on ts when playing with fellow -SAS- members, as sometimes people get shot and are annoyed that you weren't covering them for example.

Surely this is done in real life, and the enemy might hear, but by the time he's come round the fence, he should be dead, particularly if your in a group. You won't all be reloading at the same time.

Its your choice as to whether you say it or not. You dont HAVE to click while reloading.

I would prefer to click it before relaoding than say it auto. IF you are in a firght with a guy and heres you say "im reloading" hes just going to come up and shoot u when u are

I'd love to see something like this in Project Reality.

It's a shame DICE was too stupid to put in useful phrases. They were too busy implementing dumbass ones such as "Thank you" and "Sorry"

Do you really hear people say that on the battlefield?

*gets magazines from support IRL*

"Thanks, champ!"

*gets revived*

"Thanks, I owe you one!"

*shoots teammate in the head*

"Sorry, chief." If he's dead, he can't hear you IRL

And this is while you've got 7.62s flying past your head

"Alright buddy, Get back to the fight!"

I'd rather stay dead.

Good idea since unless you have a mic, you have no way of telling your squadmates you are reloading and for them to lay down cover fire. Also, if a "suppressing fire" or "Cover fire" command was put in a spot on the comma rose, you would have another way of telling them you are reloading basically and have a button for covering fire also.
