Classic? Coke pulled it off, PR can too!

How about for certain maps, like Muttrah, comming back soon, for 32 or 16(16 just fits better) For Muttrah, the map is "Classic Muttrah"???
Many PR fans will agree that although Muttrah v2 looks awesome!!
*as a former Beta, I can say with even more confidence AWESOME! :mrgreen: *
But I still feel like Muttrah v1 was awesome. Then it dawned on me Rhino said "Project Reality has out grown Muttrah"....
But what about Muttrah 16/32 player????? :)

maa, when i look at screens of the old muttrah etc all I see is bugs and dogey bits etc :p

there is no reason why you guys cant host it on a server as a custom map providing you ask my permission first of course :p

but ehhh no MC1 wont be included in PR's main release...

EDIT: and coke never really pulled off the "classic coke" bit, they had to revert there classic back to normal coke since no one brought into the new coke.

I know, but I mean, Can't it be done?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?*way too many*

I don't own a server, and I'm sure that no server will listen to me.
So.

But what about a PR mini-mod that just has some of the old maps that have been excluded??

i.e.: Muttrah City v1, Night watch, *guessing here, didn't play until 0.5* Mashtuur City, and others!*cant think of any*

If the "Classic map" was ready for download as a custom map, and we had permition from Rhino i dont think there would be a problem running it on TCombat.com as we allready run the training mod etc...

But it sounds like a workload that cant be afforded this close to a release. :/

(Btw: Do you mean the old muttrah map, or the new mutrah map with the old weapons loadout and vehicles?)

to be honest, I played pr .5 no too long, I just can't stand the game anymore. The new versions just took me and any of my "skillz" in .5

And I like the new versions, anything past .7 is just so arcady (probably because of the suppresion effect, once you are used to it you can't go back)

Muttrah V1 was nice, but it does simply not work anymore in PR, if it should be still used, i would suggest to ask USI if they don't want to include it.

lol imagines the look on rhinos face when every one downloads "PR Classic" and no one downloads 0.8 so we end up reverting back to 0.5.
