Change the Ghillie suits

I know that the devs have said they will probably change the sniper class to an Advanced Marksman. However I still like the sniper and I think it could still be very useful if some changes were made to the suit. My idea is to make it so that when prone, the suit changes to rock/bush. I know this was supposed too be in BF 2 and they deleted it. I assume the code is still in there and if you could implement it would actuall give the sniper a purpose.

you want the suite to turn into a rock or a bush? your kidding right? i dont possibly see how this does anything useful. its also unrealistic. if you see the ghillie suite in PR at all it will be on maps geared towards an SF unit that would carry snipers and youll probably the same or similar suite to whats in there now.

Hahahaha! I can see it now! What could this evolve into?

It starts out as people magically transforming into rocks and bushes, pretty soon snipers will be disgusing themselves as garden gnomes and park benches.

What they should do is just get rid of the damn ghille suit or make it work like a deployable weapon so you can put it on and take it off.

And few set to choose.... nice idea... as long as snipers are going to be more close fights class someday it is good idea... to take off ghille suit and run in uniform like rest of the team ;]

Or, you could just make some baisic visual improvements to it and make it a little bit more usefull.

Although saying that, the amount of times ive crawled into a bush in the middle on the enemys main and had MEC walking all over me, neer to spot me, has been unreal.

you see a little dog laging in the road and suddenly you die and it comes over and take a slash on your face.

What he means is the color pattern to the ghillie suit. Twigs sticking out of it or areas of the ghilie suit that are hardend to look like rocks. Im guessing you people have never seen a real ghillie suit?

nope, it aint going to change colour.... the whole point of a ghillie suit is the sniper needs to know how to use it. You cant just lay down on the ground you need to match the terrain arround you. Its an art being a good sniper.
