Re: HK416
It'll probably have been suggested at some point.
However requesting specific armour pieces/jets/hand held weapons is something that usually isn't very constructive, unless your trying to make the community aware of a new weapon/tank/heli/etc that's going to be widely issued, or a new type of asset that would help improve or give depth to gameplay i.e mortars, arty systems, landing craft etc (the vast majority of the like will have been suggested before).
As dull as it to say, pretty much everything of this nature has already been mentioned at some point.

Re: HK416
My friend if you don't get eaten by this community for that request I'll track your IP and shake your hand.
US Army gets the M4 for standard and M4A1 for SOF
USMC gets M16A4 for standard and M4A1 for SOF
MEC has HK53 and G3
And the 416s "SUPER" reliability comes from it's piston instead of a direct gas system, and there has been aftermarket pistons since I guess since Nam so it's nothing new. Just HK had FW display it and now everyone is 416 crazy

Re: HK416
Like I said this gun has been in use by special forces sense 2004, I am not just suggesting a weapon to be put in because I like it. Before you come in and criticize me maybe you should check your info.
"HK416/417 Users:
-Indonesia - Indonesian Marine Corps Counter Terrorist Unit, Detasemen Jala Mengkara (Denjaka).
-Netherlands - The Netherlands Army special forces unit Korps Commandotroepen selected the HK416 over other tested assault rifles to replace their Diemaco C8 assault rifles. The weapon is shown on several photos from the unit's recruitment day. The HK416 is currently (200
the standard assault rifle of the unit.
-Norway - On April 11, 2007, the Norwegian Ministry of Defence signed a contract for an initial shipment of 8,200 rifles to serve as its new standard assault rifle, replacing the AG-3 that has been in use since 1967. It is slightly modified, with a different stock and pistol grip. The deal also included the purchase of 6500 HK MP7. Delivery is expected in the first half of 2008.
-Turkey - Turkish Army has tested 9,000 units of the HK416 manufactured domestically as the Mehmetçik 1 by MKE, and decided to adopt it as a replacement for the currently issued G3 rifle. The Mehmetçik-1 will differ from the original HK416 in some details, like the use of a different metal alloy in its construction. This will probably to allow MKE to manufacture the rifle by the cheaper and simpler procedure of Metal Injection Molding rather than forging.
-United Kingdom - The HK416 is used by the British Special Air Service
-United States - It is used by the U.S. Army's 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta, various other Special Operations Command units including DEVGRU, US Capitol Police SWAT, and the US Army's Asymmetric Warfare Group. "

Re: HK416
Seeing as how it is only used by special forces and even then not used by majority of them, I have to doubt the use of it ingame. At least for the US forces.

Re: HK416
That it does, locked for resuggestion.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
