Weapons?

On teh main site i see all these new vehicles and weapons..Yet when i paly teh game i see none of these... Where are they? This is false advertisement! Haha. Jsut curious to when these will some out because i am a huge fan of silenced assault rifles and Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

Welcome,

The only new vehicle we have so far released is the OH-6 Little Bird. This is included in the current version of the mod. If you're not seeing it online create a local server on Gulf of Oman and you can play with it.

The other weapons and vehicles will be included in future versions of the mod.

Thats awesome! Im guessing it doesnt have an armament from teh looks of the media. But good luck makeing the other weapons! I would suggest instead of a sniper version of the M16 i would use the XM25. Here check it out:

It would be a lot more acurate for the game if you used that weapon. If your planing on remakeing the SAW put a forgrip with a retractable stock. Looks a lot better and improves accuracy close ranges and helps around cornering.

The SPR (sniper version of the M16 as you put it..) is not a sniper, Its a marksmans rifle. The class that will be replaceing the sniper class in most maps in this mod soon as a marksman will work with the squad, and not hide under a bush for the whole game. This will encorage more teamwork and give anouther edge to the squad. 8)

I still think the M25 would be a great idea in my opinion. It would still add the realism to teh game. I would suggest encodeing a scrpit that only allows like 1 sniper for every squad created. Something similar to Americas Army. Even if you did include the SPR, not to sound liek a downer, people will still camp in a spot under a bush...Just behind a base. But the silenced M4 should be my first love!

Heres how a game called joint Ops was set up, you could choose between a few different guns.

***ALL classes have the options og 3 smoke, flash, and frag grenades***

Rifleman-
Rifles: Can only choose 1
M16A4/M203
M16A4
M4

Explosives: 1 only and total of 4
C4
Claymores
______________________

Anti Tank-
Rifles: Only choose 1
M16A4
M4

Anti-tank weapons:
AT4, 1 hit kill in rear or bottom
Javelin, 1 hit kill anywhere
Stinger, 1 hit
________________________________

Support Gunner:

M249 SAW
Extra ammo but no ammo packs like BF2

Medic:
M16A4
Med pack (i say add animations and make it take longer)
couldnt heal themselves.

Sniper:

M82
M4 carbine with 2 mags, MP5, M9, Colt 45

Explosives:

Then theres the enginner class, i say screw the shotty and add the M16A4 to their class as well. They could repair vehicles and lay mines.
