If you use the G3 right, USMC shouldn't get inside the bunkers in the first place :p ;)

Although the Ak101/HK53/MP5 do a lot better job in CQC, IMO the AK101 has to be the most accurate ironsight rifle in-game :O

All of this is a really stupid idea! Crewman only has 1+2 magazines, one smoke, no fragmention greanades, no body armor, no shovel, and no extra ammo. I think the DEV team should come up with an alternative class for MEC with an Hk416, Hk 53a3, or MP5. They could call it CQB specialist or something like that.

there is ONE rifle that would be really fittig into the MEC lineup, and that is the HK33 - a G3 for 5.56mm, should be relatively easy to make, since they would only need to redo the handguard, the mag and the barrel.

(the HK416 is simply to fancy compared with the rest of the MEC equipment, the HK53 is actually only used be german KSK, GSG9 and the british SAS => too rare, and well, the MP5 simply is a SMG and modern military tactics do not use SMGs anymore. so i think giving the rifleman unscoped a HK33 with ironsights or reddot would really be the best solution.
And it would not be work for the DEVs since I'm sure KP would moddel it, since he already got the PR G3 and is a fan of G3 like weapons.

the grenedier ak-101 works well too.

and ive been able to go full auto with a g3 effectively. you just have to pull down on the mouse while firing.

I wouldn't mind giving the iron-sights rifleman an HK53A3 or MP5N - why hasn't it been done already?

Who the hell uses their sights in CQB anyway? Center the screen on them and spray. They'll die.

Still no explanation as to whether this has even been considered or why it's been turned down.
