Fantastic progress :-)

Moire crits though:

really tone down all that white like you say. Keep it confined to areas that would get scratched realistically, like on edges like you have done. So at the rear, keep most of the scratches going horizontally as though buses and rocks have scraped against it as it drives past. Keep most of the scratches to the protruding areas on the sides.

You should add some mud that has been sprayed up by the wheels too. I did a quick sketch to show you what i mean, blue = mud, red = scratches:

Just some advice to make it even better.

yeess!!

Much better, loving the scratches and the normal map. As said above, tone down the white just a little and get some mud on there and sorted!!!

Holy Jebus, that is amazing. With the adjustments that Pride suggested this model will turn out super sexy.

I'm putting desert schemes on hold since I have a lot more jobs now that I've been promoted.

Newer renders after some tweaking in the bump and spec maps.

The french army also use the VN3 so this could be used in the french force community mod if they decide to go ahead with it

that isnt the VN3, thats the panhard VBL, similar looking but in no way related to each other. the VN3 is larger, heavier armed and armoured than the VBL and can carry a maximum of 8 instead of the VBL's 3.

whether the VBL influenced the dsign of the VN3 i do not know

Beautiful, absolutely.
Is importing vehicles alot of hazzle, coding and debugging-wise? Meaning, will it make .8?
