aesthetic changes

Post by Rudd »

This is a visuals only change, low priority but worth considering

British forces:
Medic hats should be given to the SF forces/snipers and medics should be given the standard combat helmet. This makes more sense to me.

Woodland camo, the back's of the characters seem conspicuously smooth in comparison to the body armour of the desert camo models.

Post what aesthetic changes you thing should be included (but no changes requiring entirely new models plz)

I've seen pictures of British Snipers with hats, helmets or nothing at all. Snipers would usually intend not to be seen, plus they look more 1337 without. I guess most of them would choose or might take their hats off in certain situations.

Maybe desert sniper with hat, as he would like to keep the sun from his eye to reduce glare etc.. (IRL). Woodland sniper without hat.

I'm not sure if it'd make sense for Special Forces, as a hat can restrict your view (IRL).

If medics wear helmets more often IRL then it should be done.

I've noticed this, they seem very shiny.

I've heard a few comments about the British desert skins looking like the soliers have make-up on. I guess I'd like to see their faces toned down a bit, I'm not sure if Soldiers know how to apply foundation though. :)

Well, for the Brits, why does the officer wear a beret?? I mean it distinguishes him way too much IMO. He should just wear a helmet, with a radio comms thing or something similar, but maybe have like the officer sign(the one for the kit) on his helmet or something, it justs seems to obvious with a beret and we only wear berets in Peackeeping, which i dont think we are doing lol

Ya medics and officers should wear combat helmets. They picked off too easy, and its not realistic.

I agree, officers would only wear a beret when meeting with local officials or something (at least that is what I read in 'Soldier Magazine' on the FIBUA training methods)

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.
