Are we really going to let this good thread die?
Can we have an answer, if only a wink and a nod, from a Dev?

Thanks for the support clark, I hope its not to late for them to consider it for .8 if it is then we would have to wait till the next and that may be a little while and it prolly won't make it. Oh well you win some you lose some.

well to shed a little light Mines ARE MENT to be buried if u lay it on to of the ground Explosions or shakes of the ground could set it off or blow it up in the sky and land in some random unmarked potentionally hazardous spot if it lands in a friendly occupied area.

Effects like this are only based on how much "health" vehicles and air assets have, when they get down below this level the effect is random anyway, it doesn't have anything to do with how or where the asset is damaged.EOD_Security-2252 wrote:I don't know if they could do this, but it would be cool if the tanks were just immobilized by the landmines (like the track gets broken), so the guns still work, but the tank cannot move.

Re: Land Mine Suggestion.
If we had mine fields...we could have stuff like the M58 to clear the field.
For people who don't know, the M58 is used to clear minefields by using explosives. A rocket is shot across the minefield, as it goes is pulls a line across the field, the line is filled with C4. Engineers then hook the line up and get to a safe distance, then BOOM. The explosion sets off some mines and those that it doesn't are thrown clear of a ditch made by the C4 that tanks and such can go through.
