Chinese vs Middle East

Some have argued that this is an unrealistic scenario, they are wrong.
China has their own insurgents, mainly muslims minority. China claimed to have received threats of terriorist attack in the upcomming Olympics.
It think someone can create a Chinese vs Middle East/insurgents map, rather than the boring old East vs West.

Any reasons on why the Chinese wouldn't attack MEC? They have oil, and a huge country like China needs a fair bit of oil to keep it ticking over...

Makes me wish there was a Spanish or Italian faction. An MEC invasion into Europe, from North Africa would be kinda cool and an excuse to give them woodland camo. There could also be an MEC invasion of London against the UK as a follow up, my dream map scenario. As for China and desert camo, about a third of the country is desert (see Tibet and Xinjiang), not quite sure the US or UK would bother invading that barren part of the country though. For the record, I wouldn't like to see MEC vs PLA or Russia vs PLA or MEC for that matter. I'd like to see the factions split into 2 sides if possible, with MEC, PLA and Russia being the "axis of evil" so to speak.

I wouldn't mind seeing some differant type of conflicts. In today's political climate, any country is fair game really. I don't see ANY reason why the chinese wouldn't go after the middle east, like someone said earlier, China needs it's oil. If memory serves China uses more oil then America, if America is motivated by oil, why wouldn't China be?

In a scenario with the MEC and PLA both fighting the west, I think it's more likely that China would give military technology in exchange for oil, rather than incuring the wrath of another superpower. It'd be be suicide for them to take on both the west and middle east simultaneously. Of course history has proven, that some leaders are indeed crazy enough to try a move like this, but at the same time history has proven they lose.

EDIT: Those MEC woodland shots look awesome btw. Maybe we could have a MEC vs US Army map set in Turkey, the US has bases there doesn't it?

china has enough resources to run itself, well enough to survive that is. besides if they ever needed to take over another country all they have to do is stop exporting...lol almost everything is made in china or has parts made in china

Well, even if a MEC v China scenerio is unrealistic, I for one would LOVE to see the MEC fight somebody in a forested map using that MEC woodland camo.

Sidequestion: Do MEC vehicle skins exist for woodland camo? Seeing a green T-90 or even the Vodnik would be pretty cool too.

Just throwing this out there- why not just make up a story that the MEC is having a border dispute with the chinese and have a bi ming type map. Simple, not real story weight required, could be serious, could be over next week, who cares, now we get woodland MEC camo...
