I was lanning with some friends last night, and while running around as an Ambusher, noticed on the IED that the number taped to it had a 716 area code.
My friend thought maybe it was a subtle reference to the Lackawanna Six, but I wondered if one of the PR devs was from the Buffalo area.

Well, killer, I appreciate you completely derailing this topic.
LAN = Local. Area. Network. You're connected to the same network. I don't know how that can be simplified any more.
Wikipedia should be able to explain any more questions you have about LANs.
