There is nothing wrong with the snipers. You just need to hold position and don't move you gun at all to get a clean shot. It also takes a few seconds after you moved your gun or moved your body before you can accurate fire.

Well sniper isn´t always a one shot kill. Most of the time, but not always.

Well...I don't know about well-trained army snipers...but when I move a rifle-that is steadied by a bipod while I'm prone-a few inches, I don't flail the gun around causing my bullets to go at ridiculous angles to where I am pointing. But I guess in PR, snipers do flail around when they move the reticle a couple inches, because that is the only explication I can think of for why the bullets don't even land in view if you turn a little bit

I agree with this statement, it is kinda annoying...Symplify wrote:Well...I don't know about well-trained army snipers...but when I move a rifle-that is steadied by a bipod while I'm prone-a few inches, I don't flail the gun around causing my bullets to go at ridiculous angles to where I am pointing. I dont get how folks have problems with moving the gun (mouse) If I move fast then I get a bit of deviation but moving the aimpoint slow n steady I can lead targets and get accurate fire down quite comfortably If I move my body (keyboard) then I get an arse load but it only takes a short time to settle

Re: is there still a sniper bug
this has been discussed to death with the devs, and i assume that the devs are going to change this by .8 so its like the HAT kit deviation, no deviation in slow steady moving, and high deviation if body is moving or sharp scope movements. If this is not changed.... well... i just got arma gold, i think im gonna play that and abandon PR till next patch...

On assault rifles this isnt a problem, but snipers get INSANE deviation from moving the gun just a littleSadist_Cain wrote:I dont get how folks have problems with moving the gun (mouse) If I move fast then I get a bit of deviation but moving the aimpoint slow n steady I can lead targets and get accurate fire down quite comfortably If I move my body (keyboard) then I get an arse load but it only takes a short time to settle
