AH-6 LittleBird?
A (hopefully) simple mod. Make the littlebird attack version.
All that is needed is to take the existing MH-6, and replace the bench seats with weapons pylons.
The standard config for the weapons pylons would hold twin 7 shot rocketpods and twin 7.62mm miniguns. You can also substitute the 7 shot rocket pod with 19 shot rocket pods, you can replace the miniguns with twin 50. cal M2's. OR, the tank buster version would hold 4 hellfires(no miniguns or rocketpods) and would have a camera on the nose.

more common is the m134 and 2.75 ffars.

just what i was going to say. The littlebird is best used for covert transport.00SoldierofFortune00 wrote:Yea, give the US more weapons over the MEC and add weapons to an aircraft which main point is transportation in this game. Would make the game even more off balanced and take infantry off the ground like the original Blackhawk.

That's correct, the H-6 can only be a gunship (AH-6) or an assault transport (MH-6), not both at the same time. Eventually the AH-6 will be in game on certain maps. They were also used to effect in Desert Storm supporting the Joint Special Operations Task Force.'[R-CON wrote:Rhino']I think in the future the DEVs will make a version with weapons, but i wouldnt want to see it used as a transport as well. its 1 or the other and it would also need to only feture in certian maps.

it wouldnt be invulnerable if its flying steady and relatively low enough to gun down infantry - and since its a much smaller (and I would assume therefore not as much armor) suspectable to small arms fire, so you oughta be able to use even light mgs like the saw or mg36 and after emptying a few ammo cans into it, take it out...

When I suggested the ah-6, i didn't suggest it as a armed transport, but as a light ground support helo. Afterall, that is what it is.
And it wouldn't be overpowered, it is actually less powerful than a cobra or havoc. It is vulnerable, with very little armor. Basically relying on it's speed and small size to dodge enemy ordinance.

Exactly. People who say it would be overpowered don't take into consideration how god damn easy it is at the moment to kill an entire Littlebird crew. The AH6 would be the same, it would just be able to take down 20 EJODs before it surcomes to the enemy's firepower.

Oh yes, the littlebird is very susceptible to enemy ground fire.
I remember when i was playing on Rhinos map with a couple of guys, on his map littlebirds are the main transports, and a single support guy took out the pilot and the entire crew.
It did force us to use the buildings for cover and i must say, its cool flying through a city in a Littlebird. an attack version would be nice especially on Rhinos map, 1 AH-6J and the rest the Transport version.
