Agreed, this is a good time to ask them to implant the 128 player support.
Witch shouldn't be a huge problem as they probaly only need to change a few settings within the exe's and maybe files.

Modifiable voip. It might be tricky, it might not.


I am pretty sure Dice would have some time to have a word with the PR lead dev. Or not :razz:

Probably some fixes that apply to BF2 Gameplay. Things like gun damage, nerfing, etc.

Hope they do something about insta-prone, claymores, IO mode and the g36E, they are the main reasons why I moved on to Bf2142 and PR, with the exception of insta-prone in PR, you don't have to worry about any of those problems...

There are only 3 small things that DICE need to do to make me happy:
- allow mods to run a potential of 128 players
- allow mods to modify squad sizes and types
- allow the prone animation to be modified
Will never happen :(

If they just fix the insta-prone ****, I'll be happy. Better yet, how bout fix the dam hit box problems!

How bout unlock the freaking source code, cause this engine is dead to them anyway. Or even a more user-friendly editor, with better explanations on how to mod stuff.

This will never happen, ever. In fact, they used the BF2 engine for BF:Heroes (modified of course, but still, it's the BF2 engine inside).

In all honesty just give us access to engine, its the only way to get popularity for it, that way mods can do what they want and game my start selling again

And you know IF we finally did get it no one would use it.

I dont know if you already know this though, but in the file listed below, you can change different delays etc:
...\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Objects_server\common.con

rem *** number of seconds the player must wait to fire weapon after jumping...
Vars.Set fire-delay-after-jump 0.7
rem *** number of seconds the player must wait to go prone after jumping...
Vars.Set prone-delay-after-jump 0.3
rem *** number of seconds the player must wait to jump after being prone...
Vars.Set jump-delay-after-prone 0.8
rem *** number of seconds the player must wait to stand after going prone...
Vars.Set stand-delay-from-prone 0.8
rem *** number of seconds the player must wait to go prone after standing...
Vars.Set prone-delay-from-stand 0.8
rem *** number of seconds the player must wait cbefore sprint meter starts recharging again after jumping...
Vars.Set sprint-recharge-delay-after-jump 0.7


Isn't it possible that by looking on the things above, you can make a new thing (fire delay after prone), for example "Vars.Set fire-delay-after-prone"?
And a question for you: Is that the file where the prone->crouch delay (since the 1.4 Patch) is too? I cant seem to see that "delay" in those settings, so maybe its somewhere else? ;)

Some Gamearena Australian servers would i believe they are pretty stable.
